Day 226 / 582 –
Last night, we got out to see the Perseid Meteor Shower. The place we picked was a bit disappointing. Too many cars pulling out, too much light, and the clouds were encroaching as the night progressed. Still, we saw a few good streaks. I didn’t capture many. The one in the lower right was one of the smaller ones.

I had a quick job to do in Estes Park, CO. After it was over, I stopped for coffee, and saw this guy walking around. He was eating the plants around a small pond, and he kept coming my way. I had to back off over and over, just to keep a safe distance. I’m sure a few more of him will be posted in the next few days.
