Day 29 / 394 –

You didn’t think I was done posting cows, did you?

This is not my greatest picture of a cow (or two cows), but I had to use this one, as it was maybe the most dangerous photo I got.  As I was taking it, I heard what I believe to be a gunshot, most likely a warning shot.  The cows heard it too, as they started running.  I was still in my car, so I drove off without waiting to find out if it actually was a gunshot.  This is Florida, after all.  When taking photos of cows, even though I am on public property, I am well aware that some people won’t take kindly to a stranger taking pictures of things on their property.

Actually, it’s not a bad photo of two cows at all.

We will return to the more serious work in a bit.  But for now, cows.

Yesterday, I went into the fields around Tampa, FL with the mission of photographing cows.  Because it makes me happy.  And when you are doing things by choice, it doesn’t hurt to have some things done for the pure joy of it.
